What's included

What a paver sealing job covers

  • Always follows a full paver cleaning — never applied over dirt or old sand
  • Locks in the fresh polymeric sand and restored color from the cleaning
  • Helps keep weeds and ants out of the joints
  • Three-visit process, built around how polymeric sand actually sets
  • Highest-ticket residential service — repeat revenue over time

How it works

Three visits, and here's why

  1. 1

    Visit 1: wash

Pavers get washed and weeded, same as a standalone paver cleaning job.

  2. 2

    Visit 2: re-sand (after drying)

Once dry, joints get re-sanded with polymeric sand — this step uses water to activate the sand, which re-wets the patio.

  3. 3

Visit 3: seal (after drying again)

Once the patio is dry a second time, sealer goes down — locking in the sand and the restored color.

Pricing

How paver sealing is priced

Every job gets priced on-site, not off a generic rate — joint depth and patio size are what set the price, the same as paver cleaning, since sealing always follows that same clean and re-sand work.

Every job has a $400 minimum.

FAQ

Paver sealing questions

Why 3 visits instead of 2?

Wash, then dry, then re-sand, then dry again, then seal — that's the real sequence. Re-sanding activates polymeric sand with water, which re-wets the patio, so sealer can't go down the same day as the sanding. It needs its own dry visit.

Can I just seal without a full clean first?

No. Sealing over dirt or old, worn-out sand locks that dirt in permanently. A full clean and re-sand always comes first — sealing is the last step, not a standalone one.

How long does the seal last?

It's a repeat service — reapplied periodically, with the exact interval depending on traffic and sun exposure on your patio. We don't quote an exact year count because it varies job to job.
